A closer look at Volume Balancer
Just because there’s a pair of speakers connected to a sound output device, doesn’t mean quality reaching your ears is maximum. Audio files depend on many parameters, including encoders, and even volume balance. To quickly adjust this, Volume Balancer lets you process multiple files at a time to normalize sound according to different presets. It takes little time and effort to get the application up and running, and so is the process of getting familiar with all it has to offer. Although pretty simple in terms of design, the main window puts all functions at your disposal, so you don’t depend on multiple windows. All files you add are stored in a table, with info for old, and new name, as well as source, and result loudness. The application is only capable of processing WAV files, and you can either add one, or more by simply dropping them over the main window, or using the built-in browse dialog. However, it’s best to add at least two file,s because one of them needs to be a reference level.
