Neutrino - A simple spectral shaping audio plug-in designed to balance the sound of instruments and voices in a simple and efficient manner
In depth
A closer look at Neutrino
Audio editors are complex pieces of software that handle different aspects of sound production. Despite this, plug-ins specialized in a particular area can become more useful to a musician, and can be integrated into the host applications for added functionality. Neutrino is a compact application developed by Izotope to balance values over the frequency spectrum for vocals, and instruments. It is not a standalone application, as it requires a host application. You gain access to its features after integrating it within a compatible VST host. The interface is overly minimalistic, providing four modes, two buttons for amount and detail, as well as an on/off switch. When you first load the application, you must authorize its use by adding the serial number provided by the developers after you register on the product website.
