Overview
What is HyperBlade?
blends the high-speed thrills of hockey and extreme skating with the brutality of combat fighting to bring you pure sporting madness.
In depth
A closer look at HyperBlade
Teams of 3 players (2 forwards and 1 goalie) skate in an ellipsoid-shaped arena toward the goals at either end, carrying a ball (Rok) in a scoop attached to their right hand. To score a goal, you must throw the Rok into the opponent's goal. Between the goals are a variety of obstacles including ramps that send you flying over opponents, turnstiles that speed you up or stop you cold, and archways that when passed through, can transform your Rok into a weapon that you can throw at opponents. And of course your opponents will body-check you and try to stop you any way they can. Features real-time 3-D graphics, incredibly realistic motion capture footage, varying camera angles during the action, an interesting storyline, and more.
