You can search the Web for people using BigFoot; access the latest news from six sites, including BBC and CNN; browse through six music databases, including Amazon and Borders; look for books in five sites, including Barnes and Noble and Buy Books; and use any or all of the seven search engines (Excite, Snap, Yahoo, and others) for other searches.

Talash allows you to index your hard drive(s) and search for specific files by name, type, size, and date, as well as content.

The program also runs as a desktop search bar, and a convenient icon in the System Tray area of the Windows taskbar.
