The program's features include: a spelling checker; customizable folders and MRU lists; the ability to store links to frequently used text and images in a pull down menu and a tooltip toolbar; a status bar; a ruler; and more.

EasyText lets you set up your own file filters and file associations, customize colors and fonts, search and replace multiple open files, and launch external programs.

It also includes auto-saving, auto-scrolling, drag-and-drop capability, and integrated e-mailing with an address book.

In addition, the program's toolbars can be "Docked" on any window edge.
