ANoteWrite is well suited to working with text files of any size. You can use its well-designed interface with toolbar and status bar to open multiple files for simultaneous editing. You can drag-and-drop selected text within and between open files. Drag-and-drop is even supported from other applications. You can also specify documents to open automatically with ANoteWrite's AutoOpen feature. There's also spell checking, customizable keyboard shortcuts, and user-definable open dialog filters.

Other features include: OLE (object linking and embedding) support; find-and-replace; font selection for display and printer use, with support for all installed fonts; generation of automatic backup files; line and column number display; case and capitalization conversion; plain and rich-text formatting; and common text insertion. There is also a command line option.
