lets you organize your desktop icons using labeled shelves and dividers.
Neat! covers the entire desktop area of your screen. It uses a “bookshelf” metaphor, allowing you to position shelves and dividers to divide the screen into separate work areas for your different categories of programs and data files. You might, for example, have separate work area shelves for Internet programs, business applications, graphics, and games.
Placing program icons, data files, and folders on the shelves is as easy as dragging and dropping them from Windows Explorer or straight from the desktop.
A wide variety of graphical Styles are available, ranging from simple Windows-look styles, to Victorian bookshelf, to Science Fiction styles. And each style has its own Sounds Style, too.
If you have more than one person using your computer, each user can have his or her own set of Neat! screens.
