is a utility to create, install, and distribute your own "sound schemes" to replace the standard Windows sound events.
Sound schemes are groups of WAV files that play when certain Windows events occur (e.g. start Windows, open program, exclamation, program error, minimize, etc.).
With MiSounds, you can create a new sound scheme using your own WAV sounds. You can also convert the sound effects from a desktop theme into a separate sound scheme, and install only the sound effects from the theme.
You can easily preview (hear) each sound you've selected for each sound event. Once you've finished creating your sound scheme you can save it as a "*.sounds" file.
You can also create a ZIP file to distribute your sound scheme, which can include a TXT file.
MiSounds was created by Nekbyter's Themes 'n Schemes and Erez Yearot.
