With WinProxy, multiple computers can be connected to the Internet with a single modem or IP address, and each user can run Web browsers, FTP clients, E-mail applications, and more. WinProxy includes set-up wizards for easily configuring your LAN.
It supports HTTP, FTP (CERN and Socks), Telnet, NNTP, SMTP, POP3, Secure Sockets Tunneling (SST), Blacklisting, Dial-Up-Networking, Remote Administration, HTTP cacheing, America Online connections, and more.
This beta version includes support for networks with multiple segments, support for Windows/ME, improved performance on busy networks and NT/2000 servers, and improved cache performance. This release also offers incoming NAT (Network Address Translation) mappings for people with internal mail, Web, and ftp servers. It provides firewall settings for protocols other than TCP and UDP, and acts as a router that intercepts only specified protocols to scan for viruses and cache. This beta version offers many other improvements and user-requested enhancements.
