ProtectX lets you monitor your computer constantly, automatically notifying you with an alarm when anyone tries to connect to your PC on any of the specified ports, as well as logging their IP address.
It also maintains the integrity of your system, keeping it free from Trojan backdoors by monitoring areas in which Trojans tend to hide themselves, such as the Registry.
If changes are detected, the program enables you to terminate the Trojan, delete the file, and remove all traces of it.
ProtectX runs as a convenient icon in the System Tray area of the Windows taskbar.
