Eserv makes it easy to connect your LAN to the Internet by providing proxy servers for FTP, HTTPS, SOCKS, and DNS along with TCP and UDP port mapping. This allows all users of a LAN to access the Internet through a single Internet connection without having to allocate an external IP address to each computer in the LAN. Eserv allows users to use almost any Internet application, and also makes it possible to interface your LAN mail system with Internet mail, and for users to access news servers.

Eserv also includes mail, news, FTP, finger and Web servers. The mail server supports SMTP, IMAP4 and POP3 and it has the ability to share a single mailbox on the ISP, with aliases and mail routing support.

EServ comes with an HTTP caching proxy, and a built-in scheduler and dialer.

Under Windows NT, it can run as a service.
