Overview

What is AutoNet?

allows you to create an automatic dial-up router on an existing network.

In depth

A closer look at AutoNet

Once the program is installed, any computer in your network can connect to your ISP. AutoNet can also close down the connection when Internet activity ceases.

All the computers in your network can simultaneously connect to the Internet, and any Windows, Mac, Unix, or Amiga computer is supported. In fact, once the program is up and running, you do not need the initial Windows machine. AutoNet acts as a firewall, and can handle up to 255 computers.

In addition, every machine in your network can have its own e-mail address, and all known protocols (FTP, HTTP, mail, RealAudio, and more) are supported.

Verdict
