SyGate is a gateway that uses low-level packet switching to offer fast performance. It can be easily installed, and you don't have to reconfigure the Internet applications running on each client PC. A wide variety of protocols are supported, including HTTP, NNTP, FTP, RealAudio, IRC, DNS, Telnet, Ping and Traceroute.

Features of SyGate include: easy installation and set-up; the ability to remotely manage the server software; a built-in firewall; the ability to run as a service; port blocking protection for the computer that SyGate runs on; the ability to restrict access to certain Web sites; and support for Dial-Up Networking.
