You can start as many processes as you need. For example, you can simultaneously ping several hosts.
Internet Service Assistant lets you determine the connection speed between you and your ISP. If your computer is part of a network, you can find out if any computer slows down the connection.
You can also connect to your NIC (Network Interface Card) and capture all networks packets, as well as define a filter for any network activity window, and discover who is connected within your LAN or Internet connection.
