A closer look at Vypress Auvis

Vypress Auvis fulfills the function of a message processor but does not allow a user to send messages. It can process messages from Vypress Messenger (direct TCP messages plus UDP broadcasts), WinPopup Messaging Service (Windows NT), any Unix system with SMB protocol enabled, and from a NetWare "send" command.

One of the key features is the ability to disable one or all of the functions through special registry keys.

The program runs as a convenient icon in the System Tray area of the Windows taskbar.
