is a comprehensive, PC-based, TCP/IP print server which enables you to receive and customize, locally or remotely, print jobs from any AS/400, UNIX, or Windows system to any Windows printer.The program supports access for 99 printers, and can be upgraded to handle an unlimited number of printers; is an NT service which can be managed from the Control Panel; fully integrates with NT security; and includes server control access to print queues, specific print jobs, and the printing log status.
RPM Remote Print Manager Select LPD Server includes customization tools, enabling you to remove PCL codes, convert EBCDIC and SCS to ASCII, create translation tables, and insert and append specific bytes or entire files.
It also supports LPD and Telnet socket protocols, and lets you restrict originating host access, and control page range, printing time, and which printer to use.
