A closer look at Direct Connect

Direct Connect provides integrated searching capabilities, graphical file navigation, the ability to customize colors and fonts, as well as public and private chatting functions.

While all users' shared files are available to all other users without the need for passwords, you can ignore the messages of specific users from your nickname list.

You can also view transfer statistics for up to 15 files simultaneously (three per screen), queue files, and sort your nickname list.

The program also runs as a convenient icon in the System Tray area of the Windows taskbar.
