allows you to display any file in both hexadecimal and ASCII forms.
FileZap lets you examine files in record-sized segments of arbitrary length; search for hexadecimal and ASCII patterns; and decode byte patterns as bytes, integers, short and long integers, single-precision and double-precision floating points, binary data types, and Microsoft Visual Basic currency, date and time, and Boolean data types.
You can also make direct changes in the file you are examining and write the changes back to the disk copy of the file.
The program enables you to execute global cut, copy, paste, fill, and search-and-replace operations on a text or binary file; and perform cut, paste, and fill operations on a range of records in a text or binary file.
In addition, you can print selected records from a file in both hexadecimal and ASCII formats.
