is a file splitting utility which allows you to simultaneously divide multiple files.
The program lets you split/combine files to/from floppy disks and hard drives, and enables you to split multiple files to one set of volumes, to separate files, to binary chunks, or to self-joining volumes. You can even specify several files for batch recombination.
IAV FileSplitter can produce binary chunks of an original file for later rejoining on a non-Windows system (DOS, Unix, or Mac), and supports very large files and volumes (up to 16 exabytes or 16 billion gigabytes).
It includes a built-in UUENCODE feature, which allows you to split e-mail attachments, and supports superfloppies, such as ZIP disks and Superdisks.
In addition, the program includes the SmartCombine function which lets you restore split volumes in arbitrary order, and audio support which enables you to play WAV sounds for specific event notifications.
