Overview

What is Folder Guard Jr.?

allows you to hide any folder of your choice, and restrict access to all the files located within it.

In depth

A closer look at Folder Guard Jr.

When you hide a folder with Folder Guard Jr., the folder and its contents become invisible to Windows Explorer, Open and Save As dialog boxes, or any other standard Windows application and DOS program.

For all practical purposes, the folder is gone and does not exist, until you instruct Folder Guard Jr. to remove the protection.

As soon as you have entered a valid password, the folder becomes visible and accessible again, and you can use it to open files it contains, or move other files into it.

When you are finished with the files, you can simply turn the protection on, and the folder disappears again.

The program performs the protection dynamically, by intercepting requests from any application to open files, and rejecting such requests for the files located in the protected folder.
