Overview

What is ECS?

is a command-line, single-file encryption utility.

In depth

A closer look at ECS

ECS uses a non-documented algorithm, which has nothing in common with DES and some other popular algorithms, to encrypt and decrypt data.

Restored files are exactly equal to the originals, so it is possible to encrypt any file type, and file size is not limited.

In addition, you can password-protect your files (maximum password length of eight characters), and there are no universal keys to open any of the encoded data.

Verdict
