is an alarm clock and task scheduler designed to periodically perform jobs, such as connecting to the Internet and accurately setting your PC's clock.
A title-bar-sized clock displays the time and/or date in a variety of formats and colors. Minder provides a quick access countdown timer to notify you when a specified number of minutes has past. It also allows you to schedule a virtually unlimited number of (recurrent or one time only) alarms/tasks, called "events".
Events can activate any file on your computer that would normally respond to a double-click in Windows Explorer. Alternately, events can run command lines, synchronize your PC's time with an Internet server, activate ScanDisk or Defrag operations, start print jobs, connect or disconnect from the Internet, or clear the Start Menu's list of recently opened documents.
Minder has a built-in recorder so you can easily create audio messages for alarms. Couple that with Minder's ability to activate a customized sequence of files in rotation, and you can create a simplified "talking clock" with your own voice chiming the hour.
The program runs as a convenient icon in the System Tray area of the Windows taskbar.
