By programmatically creating a document and drawing onto the page using the large selection of graphics, text, and image functions, the creation and print previewing of complex page layouts is a much simpler task.

SwiftPrint includes support for graphics primitives, text primitives, image primitives, printers and printing, and print preview.

The graphics primitives support includes: line, arc, chord, bezier, polygon, ellipse, pie, rectangle, rounded edge rectangle, filled rectangle, fill colors, hatching, color inversion, and flood filling.

The text primitives support includes: horizontal text alignment: left, center, right; vertical text alignment: top, baseline, center, bottom; the ability to use any font installed on the system; support for bold, italic, underline, and strikeout attributes; text rotation to any angle; and the ability to have text output clipped to a rectangle, decorated with tabs, and word wrapped within a rectangle.

Image primitives support includes: the ability to place image files onto the printed page; and support for BMP, EMF, GIF, JPG, PNG, and WMF formats.

Printer and printing support includes: a printer setup dialog, a print with print preview and print dialog, a print with print dialog only, and the ability to print directly with no dialog.

Print preview support gives you the ability to: move through the document via first page, previous page, next page, last page, or selecting page number directly from a drop down list; display pages singly or as a double page spread; show pages with either the odd or the even page on the left hand side when displaying in double page spread mode; and zoom between three levels of magnification.
