With 3DLegend the shape of the item marks can be a cube or a sphere. Features include: solid colors; 22 types of Excel like gradients, textures, animations; 48 Excel like patterns and materials that can be applied on marks, texts, background and the legend base plane.

The user can easily control the dimensions of the legend and the displayed labels. The control has a virtual track ball, which allows the user to easily control the viewpoint on the scene. The user can add and edit up to eight light sources.
