You can define catchwords for the program to monitor. Those catchwords can be configured to run any command locally or to play a sound when the associated catchword is recognized in the logfile text.

You can configure Logview to use secured communications with the help of SSH (Secure Shell) protocol. Software for this purpose is not included, but the online help contains links to the necessary packages.
