generates custom Java-based buttons for your Web site.
The buttons can have sounds, background bitmaps, and a variety of states and behaviors. You can arrange buttons in columns or rows and select either colors or bitmaps for the background. A button can behave like a push button, a check box or a radio button. All buttons have three states -- up, down and mouse-over. You can assign different colors, bitmaps, sounds and text labels to each of these states. You can animate moves, scales and stretches, and animate any graphic. Animations can play in response to events.
Other features include: a variety of text styles, optional borders, bitmap scaling options, and support for non-rectangular buttons by using transparent GIFs.
You can test the button project at any time without launching an external browser. When building the button applet 1 Cool Button Tool automatically generates the required Java and HTML code, and places all the required images and sounds into an output folder. You can then test the finished applet in your default browser. For non-Java browsers, an equivalent image map is generated.
