A closer look at WebSite

WebSite includes an excellent web site management program called WebView. It provides a graphical, tree-like view of your entire site along with icons for different types of files (such as HTML documents, graphic images, video, audio, image maps, etc) and the links between them. This is a great way to view the overall structure of your web site and to check for broken links. There are different views available, including including by URL, file name, and document title. When you click on an icon, WebView runs the associated application for editing.

WebSite also includes its own image map editor and an indexing program that makes your entire site (or parts of it you specify) searchable by your visitors. Features include: CGI and WinCGI support, including support for the Visual Basic 4 framework (CGI32.BAS); server-push animation support; Server Side Includes (SSI); the ability to create virtual servers; remote administration; password authentication; access control; logging statistics; wizards that automatically create common web documents; and more. WebSite also includes the HotDog Standard HTML editor to quickly create HTML tags, links, tables and forms.
