You can create custom maps with up to 100 foot precision for anywhere in the world. MAPIT is ideal for learning geography, creating work-related maps, geocoding, GPS tracking, data recording, orbital prediction, measurement, real-time simulation, network analysis, and more. You can insert your own text, figures and graphics. You can hide a screen of information behind a small marker, popping it up at the click of a mouse.

It comes with a powerful simulation language. You can write scripts describing the movement of multiple objects and display them in accelerated real-time as moving markers.

It also allows you to plot great circle and range curves and display and analyze location-related problems. MAPIT includes a database of 250,000 cities, coastlines, lakes, rivers, canals, reefs, national boundaries, fracture zones, magnetic lineations, roads, railways, airports, and much more.
