The program consists of two parts: a database administrator and an application framework. The database administrator is a Web-based database management system which provides you with everything necessary in order to administrate, explore, and update database information using only a standard Web browser.

The application framework includes a database-driven application generator and a set of ready-to-use components, including the Stratos programming language.

In addition, StWeb runs on all major hardware and operating systems; is platform and database independent; and can be used with the most popular database servers.
