While RDAC can be used to create secure, fast, scalable, and flexible connections across a TCP/IP network, WDTP is a highly-optimized, proprietary data transfer protocol implemented for efficient data transfer, effective compression, and high-performance encryption.
The program is implemented as an ISAPI filter that runs on Microsoft Internet Information Server 5.0 and Windows, enabling communication with a database by any computer or other client device that is already connected to the Internet.
It supports all relational database platforms that can be accessed by Microsoft Windows Server, and includes HTTP support for transferring binary files to and from IPro Falcon servers, FTP support for transferring binary files to and from FTP servers, and support for up to ten users.
This program was previously known as IPro Falcon Server.
