A closer look at Seal-It!

Seal-It! can detect if a given page has been tampered with, in which case the user can immediately perceive a readily identifiable visual indicator.

All the information that is necessary to correctly determine the authenticity of a page is embedded within the HTML code using persistent tags. While this information is public, it cannot be used to undermine the security features. Only a unique public key belonging to the genuine author of the page can be used to validate the signature.

The program works with Microsoft FrontPage 2000 and Microsoft Visual Interdev 6.0, and can run as a standalone application.

It also includes the ability to preview and print your Web page.
