is an elaborate Global Positioning System (GPS) navigation application which lets you use any type of map in BMP format.
The program allows you to control the link between your PC and the GPS receiver, performing all necessary tasks to translate the data that is received from the GPS satellites into geographical coordinates (latitude and longitude), and then accurately showing your position on an electronic map.
GPS Navigator includes numerous features, such as direct on-screen presentation of your speed, bearing (in degrees and compass direction), position, height, instructions, and more.
If your computer has a sound (speech) module, you can also have the program tell you the current speed and bearing and/or position. The log function can list where you have been, what route you have followed, and at what speed you were driving.
You can directly determine the GPS position which is shown by a cross hatch on the map. Digital dials continuously display the speed, position, height, bearing, date, time, and more.
In addition, the program uses the moving-map principle, enabling you to zoom in five levels deep. Maps can be scanned or downloaded from the Internet.
This program was formerly called DSH-Navigator.
