Spy-CD v3.20
is a text-based search engine appropriate for Web pages, CD-ROMs and the Intranet.Spy-CD runs as a small, server-independent Java applet. It helps end-users find words quickly by displaying the search results in order of priority (i.e. words found in keywords, titles and headings). It also displays an abstract from each page that you can go to by selecting the "Display page" button.
Spy-CD includes Hi Fashion Windows that lets you scan your Web pages for words for possible inclusion in your Word database. You can also use the supplied Word list and default options to reduce the size of the database, and to help get you up and running quickly. You can use the editor at any time to view, edit and add words to your Words database.
It supports multi-byte character sets, including Japanese and Chinese.
