With the help of PC Usage Viewer you can find out your computer's uptime. This is a straightforward software application with just a couple of options that you can quickly figure out.

Simple setup and GUI

The installation procedure is a fast and easy job that shouldn't give you any issues. When it cones to the interface, the program adopts a normal window divided into three panes, where you can view system uptime statistics in three modes: grid, graph and text view.The grid view shows the startup and shutdown, along with the duration of an active user session on the computer for multiple days. It's color coded to tell apart the computer usage times (purple), weekends (yellow) and crash (red). These colors can be changed into anything else, along with the number of rows for auto-fit.

View system uptime

The graph view is a little more elaborate but shows the same kind of information, higlighting the most used and least used times. Lastly, the text viewing mode reveals the date and time when a computer was started and turned off.All this information can be saved to file with the CSV format for closer investigation, and for later importing it into PC Usage Viewer. Apart from the fact that you can load the most recent statistics from the System Event Log, there are no other options provided by this piece of software.

Evaluation and conclusion

The tool worked smoothly in our tests, without triggering the OS to hang, crash or prompt error messages. It ran on a low amount of CPU and RAM, so it didn't hamper system performance.To sum it up, PC Usage Viewer comes in handy for all PC users who want to monitor their computer's uptime, such as parents who created a schedule for their children.
