Hyperfiction breaks traditional narrative flow into a series of branching possibilities crafted to give the reader a more interactive experience. At the end of page one, for instance, your reader may opt to "have their cake" or "eat it." The plot develops according to such choices. ActiPub thoroughly introduces the theory of hyperfiction and its audiences.

With "story templates" and a link-checking program, ActiPub facilitates the creation of hyperfiction as sets of Web pages, viewable via any standard Web browser. Templates consist of approximately 2,000 HTML files that vary in picture support and branching factor (number of links per file).

Just edit the files directly (with any text editor) to enter your own stories and poems. No HTML coding is necessary, and the hard-coded HTML links require minimal attention. When you are done, run the verification program to identify any bad links or orphaned files.
