A Web Sites manager works like a complete local mirror system -- when files or folders are created or deleted, the actions are actually performed seamlessly on the local machine. You can check for broken links, view external links, create tasks, and work on Web sites in a team-based environment.
You can drag and drop to insert links, images and text files and preview your document as you type. HotDog can be used to edit CGI scripts as well as HTML files. You can convert text files to HTML and use the "Rover" feature as a mini-Web browser to grab documents right off the Web. Hot Dog's dialog screens guide you through formatting, inserting images, adding hypertext links, and creating forms and tables. A handy width checker shows how your page will appear to users whose monitors are running with screen widths of 640, 800 or 1024 pixels.
Other features include: the ability to create custom templates and tags, easy uploading of documents or entire sites, a multi-line Clipboard, a multimedia manager, easy opening of remote files, a thumbnail page creation wizard, an inline browser, dynamic HTML support, macros and shortcut keys, a channel wizard, style sheet support, and much more. HotDog supports HTML, CSS, ASP, XML, VBScript and JavaScript.
