A closer look at InfoServ XAp-Engine

InfoServ XAp-Engine is based on a Java servlet which analyzes common and special META tags and "tokens" to control the display and updating of data in any JDBC- or ODBC-compliant database.

It is automatically called when the Web server encounters a file ending with the XAP extension, compiling and keeping the page in memory so that subsequent calls can be immediately integrated with the data without having to interpret the commands every time.

The program supports most server platforms, and enables access to the data using password-based user logins.
