A closer look at GIM Suite

GIM Suite is a new movie format (LM1) that can accomplish compression ratios ranging from 12:1 to 600:1. This movie format supports EAX, Dolby digital, Q-sound, and subtitles in up to four languages.

The movie player lets you play Luminas movies, allowing you to change performance settings, such as anti-aliasing, bilinear filtering, image stretching, and gamma correction to improve quality and speed.

The language editor enables you to create subtitle language files for the Luminas Conversion Wizard. You can open an AVI or MPG file, play it, perform specific searches, and enter the subtitle text in one of the supported languages.

Finally, the movie conversion wizard allows you to convert your AVI or MPG files to the Luminas movie format. You can include password protection, and perform smoothing, sampling, transparency encoding, compression, and more.

In addition, you can modify the program's interface (skin), and spell check your text.

This program was previously known as Luminas Suite.
