is an environment for authoring interactive Web media.
The program enables you to create compelling Web animation and graphics for advertising, training, online games and more. It generates interactive QuickTime movies, a Web standard for animation and video content. It also generates QuickTime "Wired" movies, which are highly compressed and completely cross-platform.
With LiveStage, you can: control any QuickTime media type (including QuickTime 3D, VR, and MIDI); assemble vector and bitmap graphics and animations with sound and interactivity; access the full capabilities of QuickTime Wired sprites using Qscript (the program's QuickTime scripting language); animate along paths and manipulate images over time, visually or numerically; and experiment with thousands of royalty-free GIF animations, sample scripts, and complete projects.
The program imports a wide variety of image formats, including: Photoshop, BMP, GIF, JPEG, JFIF, SGI, PNG, QTIF, Targa, TIFF, and 3DMF. You can integrate background soundtracks and interactive sound triggers imported from: AIFF, AIFC, AU, MPEG layers I and II, Sound Designer II, WAV, MIDI, Karaoke MIDI, and other audio formats.
LiveStage comes with WebPainter 3 (for creating graphical and animated content) and QuickTime Pro (which is free when you register LiveStage online).
