allows you to convert text files to Adobe PDF format.
txt2pdf is a PERL5 script, which you can use in every operating system that is supported by PERL5.
You can, for example, mark yellow, red, green, blue, bold, italic, and bold-italic words in the produced PDF files using regular PERL expressions.
You can also produce two-column PDF files, add page numbers and borders, create transition effects, and turn file and Web URLs into live links. STDIN and STDOUT processing is also supported, as well as environment variables.
Support is provided for the following encoding formats: WinAnsiEncoding, MacRomanEncoding, MacExpertEncoding, PDFDocEncoding and the Unix default.
The PRO version of txt2pdf offers form feed support (^L), a "-skipff" option to skip the first form feed, the ability to set the top and left margins, EPD support, and much more.
