is a utility designed to quickly count the number of words in PDF, DOC, RTF and HTML files.
PDFCount works with Acrobat Reader 3.0 and Microsoft Word 97 to quickly open any PDF file, and extract the ASCII characters from all pages. It then counts and displays the number of English words and characters in the document.
PDFCount also uses Microsoft Word to count words in DOC, HTML, HTM and RTF files. Please not, Microsoft Word 97 can only simple HTML files, and PDFCount is not intended to accurately count words in all HTML files.
PDFCount also integrates with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Exchange e-mail clients to easily e-mail data for language translation pricing and budgets.
PDFCount runs on
Windows 95/98/Me/NT
and is available under the
30-day Trial
license
— the installer is 778 KB.
