Webspector's integrated PageLighter technology highlights the exact areas of the pages that have changed, allowing you to get the required information very quickly. The program can also mark specific keywords in each page.

Webspector also provides direct access to Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer bookmarks, and includes a built-in database of popular Web sites.

The program consists of two modules: a server and a client. The server runs as a convenient icon in the System Tray area of the Windows taskbar, allowing you to download URLs and store them in the main Webspector application (client).

By restoring the server to view, you can see the progress of the current Web retrieval. Additionally, the server displays a series of statistics concerning all Web retrievals.
