is an Internet Explorer add-on which creates direct links from your current Web page to related information elsewhere on the Web.
The program optimizes the amount of information you can get from the Web, while minimizing the amount of time you have to spend.
While browsing the Web, flyswat creates links (flycons) within the text of your current Web page which take you directly to related information elsewhere on the Web.
The flycons update continuously as you surf from page to page, allowing you to effortlessly view and retrieve information without leaving your current page.
Clicking on a flycon raises a pop-up menu which lists information link types, and clicking on a link type takes you directly to additional information.
You can find stock quotes, company profiles, word definitions, auctions, product pricing, and more.
You can also choose to display the related links in a subject-based directory within a separate sidebar.
In addition, the program includes a search tool that lets you query search engines, on-line stores, auction sites, on-line publications, and more.
