Elephant Tracks is a browser enhancement which remembers almost every word on every page you've looked at. You use Elephant Tracks like a search engine -- simply type in a few words from the page you're interested in, and it lists all the pages you have ever looked at which have those words in them. Elephant Tracks can also perform advanced searches.

Elephant Tracks doesn't remember the pages themselves, just the words on them. It uses very little hard disk space -- usually about 2 kB per page. You can control how long pages are remembered.
