processes your plain English questions and finds answers on the Internet or your hard drive or LAN.
AnswerChase accepts your questions and finds answers on the Internet, using 12 major and 40 specific search engines. It can also search through documents on your hard drive or LAN. The documents can be in HTML, DOC, PDF, WRI, RTF, and TXT file formats. All results are displayed at once along with the corresponding links, and can be easily saved.
AnswerChase's proprietary algorithm is based on computational linguistics and fuzzy logic which allows it to understand the context and detect relevant answers.
The program also includes an e-mail address sweeper which provides a list of e-mail addresses found on the relevant answer Web pages.
Although AnswerChase is a generic tool for every type of question, its performance is maximized with topics such as medicine, science, law, art, travel, sports, business, finance, products, geography, news, and entertainment.
