What is Webroot's Winguardian?

monitors the programs that users access, the Web sites they visit, and what they enter with the keyboard.

In depth

A closer look at Webroot's Winguardian

WinGuardian runs completely hidden and monitors almost everything a user does on your computer. You can review the logs and if you find that a user is running inappropriate programs, doing inappropriate things, or visiting Web sites that your organization considers offensive, you will know. Keystrokes are monitored, and there is an option to capture screen shots. In addition, log files can be automatically sent to an e-mail address.

There is an option to have WinGuardian display your acceptable use policy (AUP) on screen, which the user must read and click on the "AGREE" button.

WinGuardian also gives you the option to "lock down" the Windows environment so that users can only run programs that you authorize.
