Disconnector can be used with your browser or any downloading program. Once the files have finished downloading, and the download window closes, Disconnector can play a sound file or disconnect your computer from the Internet. It can also optionally shut down Windows. A built-in screen saver shows your downloads' progress and status.

Disconnector automatically detects and works with the following programs: Netscape Communicator/Navigator, Netscape SmartDownload, Internet Explorer, Outlook Express, GetRight, Go!zilla, CuteFTP, mIRC DCC, WS_FTP, FTP Voyager, pcAnywhere and Windows Update.
