When you encounter other users, you can examine their personal profiles, send them an instant message, initiate a private chat, or start a group chat.

A "Hot Spots" button provides you with easy access to the most popular Web sites among Instant Rendezvous users, and an ignore feature allows you to block any incoming communication from specific users.

The program supports multiple browser windows, letting you simultaneously interact with people browsing several Web pages.

The program runs as a convenient icon in the System Tray area of the Windows taskbar.

ZDNet Alert was previously known as Instant Rendezvous.
