is a Java applet which allows you to scan the Internet or intranet for applets and run them without having to use a standard Web browser.

In depth

A closer look at JBee

JBee lets you install and cache any applet, or Java application implemented as an applet, and run your Java applets on the desktop outside your browser. Installed applets pop up almost instantly.

The program also includes a feature which enables you to combine your favorite applets, position and resize them, and place them on your desktop.

JBee supports JRE 1.1.6 and newer versions, Microsoft JVM (installed with Internet Explorer 4 and higher), configurable caching, sound capability, and the ability to perform specific searching.

In addition, the program includes proxy firewall support, security (three built-in levels) capabilities, and the ability to organize your applets in folders.
