lets you know when the content of your favorite Web sites have changed, and when you have new e-mail.
This Web-monitoring program, which can be compared to MSNBC News Alert, can monitor any chosen site (or several sites simultaneously). You can configure it to check whether the content of a Web page or a link has changed. You can specify which words should be monitored, and which words should be ignored.
Moreover, DISCo WatchMan can monitor numerous e-mail accounts, and save the results in its window. You can also group the changes from various sites according to subject, and analyse them in the DISCo Watchman window.
Monitoring results are presented in tree-like fashion, and event notification can take two forms: popup window or sound.
It can run as a convenient icon in the System Tray area of the Windows taskbar.
